Food Exhibition | Liaoning Donggang: Premium Strawberries Exported to the Middle East

Author:Unknown

Recently, a leading berry cultivation company in Donggang City, Liaoning Province, announced that it will export a batch of premium strawberries weighing 236 kilograms to the Middle East, including both red and white varieties. "We are actively expanding into international markets," said Wang Haiming, the company's general manager. "In the future, we plan to introduce intelligent sorting systems, obtain export plantation certification, and develop proprietary strawberry varieties to bring Donggang strawberries to the global market." The Food Exhibition will offer more information about import and export.

To ensure the quality of the strawberries, the company implements a full-process quality control system. Starting from the seedling stage, it employs eco-friendly pest control techniques, improves soil conditions, precisely regulates irrigation and temperature, and utilizes digital agricultural monitoring systems to track the entire growth cycle. For logistics, the company uses specialized cold-chain transportation, selecting appropriate packaging and fruit ripeness based on different shipping requirements to guarantee that the strawberries arrive overseas in optimal condition.

The Food Exhibition notes that after passing stringent international quality inspections, these vibrant and high-quality strawberries have successfully entered Dubai's premium market, fetching a price of nearly 100 yuan per 300 grams, generating significant economic returns. Local government agencies have provided comprehensive support for strawberry exports, including special subsidies and logistics solutions, effectively boosting the overseas sales of this specialty agricultural product.
