After a global success, the Trends and Innovations concept developed at the SIAL Paris since 10 years in partnership with XTC World Innovation, was exported at SIAL China in 2005 and at SIAL Montreal in 2008.
 

Since 5 years, the Trends and Innovations competition dedicates to SIAL China exhibitors offer them the possibility to present their latest technologies to the food and beverage world.

New and Innovative aspects are the criterias to have the opportunity to be present in this international showcase at the entrance of the exhibition show.

For the 2008 edition, 17 products from 7 countries were selected with the collaboration of experts from the food industry. 35% of the chosen products came from China.
