Wine Innovation Forum 2010 - 2nd edition

 

The Wine Innovation Forum is back for the 2nd edition in Hall E4!

This area is dedicated to display information presenting 3 aspects of the worldwide wine markets, and a place for the wine professionals and wine lovers to gather.

  • Geographical explanation

A focus on the main wine producing regions, highlighting the world's regions most represented at the exhibition.

For SIAL China 2009, 10 regions were selected: Argentina, Australia, China, Chile, France, Italy, North America, Portugal, South Africa and Spain.

  • Varietals area

This space offers a tasting of the 7 main international grapes varieties originating from Europe and exported to the New World: Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinot Noir.

  • Top brands highlights

Some major brands exhibiting at SIAL China and revitalizing the Wine & Spirits market will be displayed in this area. Their selection is subject to 3 criteria: innovation, trading success and added value.

In 2009, 12 conferences were organized and 10 international brands were presented: Jacob's Creek (Australia), Black Tower (Germany), Baron de Lestac (France), Colombelle (France), Tikves (Macedonia), Mateus (Portugal), X-Noir (France), Camens (China), Fruite Catalan (France) and Cono Sur (Chile).
