China Cuisine Association (CCA), a national catering industry association approved by the relevant state departments and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, was established in April 1987. It is a nationwide inter-departmental and cross-ownership industry organization voluntarily formed by enterprises and institutions, industry organizations at all levels, social groups, managers, experts, scholars, chefs of restaurants, as well as service personnel engaged in the restaurant business, management and cooking skills, restaurant services, food culture, restaurant education, culinary theory and food nutrition research. Since its establishment, with the support and cooperation of government departments, members and provincial and municipal culinary and catering industry associations, the association has been actively engaged in industrial organization, industry self-discipline, resource integration, enterprise rights protection, commercial coordination, international exchange and talent training, serving the society, government, members and enterprises, and playing a vital role in promoting the development of the industry.
