SIAL CUP will change the previous single competition format, simulate the offline consumption scenarios, and evaluate competitors' overall quality under the pressure of real consumption scenarios. Through the competition between competitors, we can see who can become the professional in the coffee industry, and ignite the innovation boom in the coffee field in all directions!

D Special Pressure Brewing Competition Process

  • The competition area is divided into several operating tables, and each platform is numbered sequentially. After the players arrive at the venue, the order of appearance will be determined by drawing lots.
  • In each round, each competitor has 6 minutes to prepare, during which they can boil water and test equipment.
  • Each contestant has 6 minutes to finish the competition. If the contestant fails, he/she will be eliminated from the competition.
  • At the end of each round, there will be three sensory judges tasting all the coffee, then they will give points on the spot, discuss and choose the best coffee in each group. The winning contestant will enter the second round. After the second round of brewing, the three sensory judges will taste all the coffee, and then discuss the winners and announce them on the spot.

LAS Coffee latte competition

The basic form of the competition is "one to one" in pairs. The single player will automatically enter the next round of the competition. If the number of players is insufficient, all the eliminated players will be drawn and return to the competition.
Each contestant is required to make 3 cups of latte works:

  • The first cup is for basic designs, including: heart, tulip, leaf, swan;
  • The second cup is an innovative extension of the basic design and color, including the basic graphics of the first cup;
  • The third cup is for free creative design, each time the qualified contestants have to change their creative works;
  • "Pattern Duplicate" will be adopted for the final competition and "Knockout" will be adopted for the rest of the competition stages;
