Mrs. Zheng joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2018 and has become one partner of the law firm based in Beijing. She is currently the Secretary General of the Institute of Customs and Foreign Exchange Law of the Renmin University of China and an invited lecturer at the Law School of Renmin University of China and the Graduate School of China University of Political Science and Law. She has solid professional knowledge and rich practical experience in various business fields such as customs supervision, export control, food safety, intellectual property rights, administrative penalties, etc. She has handled a large number of cases involving import and export commodity classification, price, origin and other tax disputes, as well as major and complex cases such as customs inspection and administrative penalties, and is also proficient in handling criminal cases of smuggling crimes. Zheng has rich practical experience in administrative dispute resolution, including administrative punishment, administrative reconsideration and administrative litigation, etc. She has managed to undertake or participate in nearly 100 cases in related fields, covering many industries and fields such as automobile, electromechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, etc. She is an expert in leveraging various legal procedures and legal remedy channels to resolve administrative disputes between enterprises and government departments and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of clients.
