Sarah Xu is International Market Manager at Dairy Australia. She manages the market development programs to North Asia and the Middle East markets and assists in policy and market access work to those markets. The role aims to encourage a favourable international market environment for the Australian dairy exports, to build active preference for the Australian dairy products among customers in the key export markets and to maintain active communication with those markets.
Sarah has worked in the dairy industry for over 21 years, and worked closely with the Australian dairy manufacturers and exporters on a range of market development programs. Sarah has also built extensive networks and close relationships with some of the most important export markets, industries and governments for Australia, from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan in North Asia to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Bahrain and Qatar in the Middle East region.
Prior to joining Dairy Australia, Sarah worked with the Australian Consulate General in Guangzhou and a radio station in China.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree of Arts from Beijing University of Foreign Studies, a Master’s degree of Business Administration from the Australian National University and a Master’s degree of International Business from the University of Melbourne.
