Better retain nutrition and taste

 

Freeze-dried food is the abbreviation of vacuum freeze-dried food, mainly including vegetables, fruits, meat and poultry, aquatic products, convenient food, soup and beverage, seasoning, health food, pet, food industry raw materials and other products.

 

The quality of freeze-dried food is superior to other drying technology products and can meet consumer demand for seasonal products throughout the year. For example, a 54-gram box of freeze-dried yogurt cubes retails for as much as 35 yuan, about the same price as a full carton of regular yogurt; A 45g can of freeze-dried soup porridge retails for 6 yuan, while a 107g bag of Laotan Pickled pepper beef noodles retails for only 2.56 yuan.

 

At present, in all kinds of freeze-dried food, fruit accounted for about 40%; Vegetables and convenient food accounted for about 20% each; Meat, aquatic products, soup drinks, pet categories also have a larger market demand. In terms of raw material cost, the production of 1 kg of freeze-dried products requires 20-25 kg of green leafy vegetables, 15-18 kg of melon vegetables, 10-15 kg of fruit, 6-8 kg of meat and 18 kg of mushrooms respectively.

 

 

Generally, the raw material cost of freeze-dried food accounts for about 60%, the processing cost accounts for about 30%, and the management, tax and other costs account for about 10%. The net profit of freeze-dried food enterprises is mostly 8% -- 10%.

 

It is reported that in the past five years, the raw material and processing costs of freeze-dried food enterprises have risen by 10%-15% respectively. Due to the increasing market demand, the continuous expansion of production scale of enterprises, the continuous improvement of production technology and production equipment level, the quality of freeze-dried food has been significantly improved and offset the rising cost factors, resulting in the terminal retail price of freeze-dried food basically did not rise.

 

The market development space is broad
