Food Exhibition | Jiangxi Specialty Foods Expand into Global Markets

2025.05.28

"Thanks to the professional support from local customs, we've finally opened the door to international markets," said Zeng Jinliang, General Manager of Xinyu Daohuayuan Food Co., Ltd. Recently, the company successfully exported 2.4 tons of high-quality rice noodles to New Zealand. A customs expert team assisted the company in establishing a comprehensive raw material traceability system, ensuring all rice noodle ingredients come from certified planting bases while strictly implementing quality inspection standards. The Food Exhibition will offer more information about import and export.

Xinyu City boasts diverse agricultural products, with specialty items like citrus fruits, pastries, and rice noodles already being sold in markets across Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Europe. To meet different countries' import requirements, customs authorities dispatched specialized teams to provide tailored services—guiding farmers in standardized cultivation, improving quality traceability systems, strengthening pesticide use management, and helping enhance product quality. Currently, multiple modern orchards have been established locally, significantly boosting international competitiveness.

The Food Exhibition notes that with the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, Xinyu's food enterprises are working at full capacity to fulfill overseas orders. Customs authorities have implemented multiple facilitation measures: conducting export demand surveys, promoting digital clearance services, establishing fast-track channels, enabling instant inspection and rapid certification to ensure smooth and efficient export procedures. Statistics show that in the first three months of this year, Xinyu's food exports reached 1,880 tons, generating $1.3 million in foreign exchange earnings—a remarkable year-on-year increase of 120%.
